Little Miss Ann and Amy D
Little Miss Ann (Ann Torralba) is an award-winning Chicago kids’ musician, a former Chicago public school teacher, an instructor at Chicago's revered Old Town School of Folk Music, a mom, and a first-generation Filipina-American. Little Miss Ann, along with her band, tour throughout the United States and have played kids’ music concerts, including SXSW, Lollapalooza Kids Stage, McCabe's in Los Angeles, and New York City’s Brookfield Place. Little Miss Ann has made five upbeat, down-to-earth, interactive kids’ albums, including Keep On, on which she collaborated with kids’ music newcomer Amy D.
Amy D (Amyliza de Jesus) is also a first-generation Filipina-American, an award-winning singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Based in Nashville, she is a songwriter for the Country Music Hall of Fame's Words & Music program, as well as a social worker and music therapist-in-training. As the mom of a young toddler, she enjoys writing music for families and continues to play live music locally.
Amy and Ann connected through their shared Filipino-American heritage and love of folk music.
