"The Four Seasons"

por Moona Luna

English

In September the sky is clear
In October the leaves aren’t so green
In November I like to bake pies
And that’s what the fall’s about

In December I look at all the lights
In January I play inside
By February I’ve survived
That’s what the winter’s like

In March and in April and in May
Spring is the season that says sunshine is here to stay

In June school gets out
In July I’m hanging seaside
By August I am so relaxed
Summer is my favorite time
Summer is my favorite time
Summer is my favorite time

Español

En septiembre, el cielo es azul.
En octubre, las hojas cambian color.
En noviembre, me pongo a hornear.
Así es el otoño.

En diciembre, brillan lucecitas.
En enero, juego en mi casita.
Ya en febrero, he sobrevivido.
Así es el invierno.

En marzo y abril y en mayo
la primavera trae el sol
y ya no se va a ningún lado.

En junio, sale la escuela.
En julio, estoy en la arena.
En agosto, estoy relajada.
Por eso me encanta el verano.
Por eso me encanta el verano.
Por eso me encanta el verano.

Moona Luna

Moona Luna is the kindie group that the New York Daily News says is providing “the missing soundtrack for bilingual/bicultural kids.” After making a splash on the family music scene with their accordion-driven, Latin-inspired debut album Piñata Party (2011), Moona Luna delivered something fresh in its sophomore album Vamos, Let’s Go! (2013), by taking inspiration from American pop hits of the ’50s and ’60s. Staying true to their bilingual mission, their third album P A N O R A M A (2016) celebrated their Latin roots and drew on broader musical influences from the African diaspora.

Moona Luna has performed all over the country, from the National Mall in Washington, DC, to the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Minnesota, to Madison Square Park in New York City. Their fourth studio album is set to be released in 2020.
